Dr. Arshad is currently an Associate Professor at Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, Pune, and a Ph.D. Research Supervisor in Commerce and Management. He brings with him a unique blend of academic excellence and industry experience, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, where he has worked extensively on competitive intelligence, market analysis, and strategic consulting.

He has held key roles in industry, including as Competitive Intelligence Manager at PharmaForce Reports Pvt. Ltd., where he led critical competitive intelligence initiatives for pharma clients. His academic research further complements this, focusing on export-oriented pharma firms and the impact of online pharmacies on traditional retail.

Dr. Arshad’s contributions to academia are equally impressive — he has published 12 books, have published 9 patents, and authored 16 research papers. With over a decade of teaching and research experience, he has also been a part of several university-level curriculum and examination committees.
